Summary: The main objectives of the EUI-Net are to enhance quality and to define and develop a European dimension in the academic continuing education in accordance with current industry labour force demand.
The project aims to create a European network of universities and industrial partners to strengthen the university - industry cooperation in the field of continuous education in a wider European perspective. As a policy issue, the network will contribute to the cultural, economic and technical construction of the European Union. EUI-Net will be a means in itself to stimulate and adapt higher education for a better cooperation with industry, by systematically pursuing both quality and effectiveness.
