Helena Bijnens

Function:

Background: Helena Bijnens holds a Masters degree in Roman languages (French and Italian) and specialised in Media- and
Information Sciences at K.U.Leuven. In 1999 she started at ATiT (Audiovisual Technologies, Informatics and Telecommunications)
where she worked as a project manager and researcher, in the field of technology enhanced learning. She was involved in projects related to: costs of eLearning, streaming media in education, satellite technology in education and digital divide issues.
In March 2005, Helena started working for EuroPACE ivzw. Helena 's role in EuroPACE consists of writing and managing European Commission supported eLearning projects, represent the network and disseminate its expertise to the
wider educational community, piloting and evaluating innovative
educational applications.
